B.S., Astronautical Engineering, United States Air Force Academy
Grace Beal is an M.S. student in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology interested in spacecraft navigation. She graduated in 2025 from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Astronautical Engineering and a minor in Space Warfighting. While at the Academy, Grace worked on the FalconSAT program, which operates satellites currently in Earth orbit, where she wrote flight code for uplink and developed an operations tool to support future mission planning. During the summer of 2024, she participated in a Joint Force Warfighting program in the European Theater, spending six weeks in Germany shadowing military professionals and focusing on the role of space capabilities in European conflict.
Grace also served as Cadet Wing Commander, the top-ranked cadet in her graduating class, and was recognized as a distinguished graduate. She is a Second Lieutenant in the United States Space Force and will attend training in Colorado Springs following her graduation in December 2026. In her free time, she enjoys triathlon training and reading.
